Programme Results
The principle of participatory approach was assumed in all implemented projects. Besides direct training activities, consultation and validation workshops were held, in all cases where ensuring the ownership of administrations and other stakeholders by the results of the projects was relevant
Eventually, participation of stakeholders is an indicator on ACP Fish II visibility in the beneficiary countries and regions.Participation of stakeholders can be highlighted through the active attendance of :
-
Consultation workshops for the preparation of policy documents, law regulation and studies
-
Validation workshops, where the technical documents produced have been presented, discussed and eventually approved
-
Training workshops, formal/specific workshops or a training component in other activities
Types of Outputs and deliverables
Not all ACP Fish II projects have the same nature, or produce the same type of outputs and deliverable
Projects have different purposes and target different needs of the beneficiary countries and regional fisheries bodies.According to their nature, the projects may :
-
produce immediate and final results or
-
need further actions to allow the results to be “sustainable
